Friday is my normal day to work in Danny's classroom. At the last minute our babysitter cancelled shocker! Fortunately, Miss September was okay with Holden coming to class today. We talked about it this morning and both boys were excited. Friday is also Danny's share day so we agreed we'd bring Holden to share.
Danny is very used to spending time with my on Friday mornings so I had no idea how it would go. I was pleasantly surprised. At circle time Holden sat on Danny's lap. They played outside most of the day and Holden fit right in. He visited the urinal two times and peed like a big boy for the first time. Usually we use the baby potty. The second time he started stripping outside and ran without pants to the bathroom. All in all it was a good day and it was endearing watching Danny look out for his little brother. They will be going to camp together this summer and it looks like that is going to work out just fine.
