Mommy Needs a Sick Day

Yesterday I came down with an awful flu bug. I woke up feeling under the weather. Somehow I managed to make it to a birthday party. After that I spent the day in bed. Dave took care of the kids from that point on. At one point Danny saw me laying on the couch and said, "Mommy are you sick?" I told him yes and he then asked me if I ate too much junk? No, I said. "Did you go outside without your jacket?" I woke up this morning at 6:45 and both my boys were still asleep..What a wonderful feeling. DAve put them both to bed at 7:30. I think today is going to be a better day.
